Ainsley is in her third year studying at Arizona State University's Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication. Alongside her B.A. in journalism and mass communication, she is earning a minor in digital audiences (digital marketing) and a certificate in data analytics. Her studies reflect her goal to make, market, and analyze the performance of digital products.

In addition to being a full-time student, Ainsley is a digital media intern with Sun Devil Athletics (SDA) and freelance photographer & videographer for ASU's 942 Crew. Ainsley produces photos and videos for both SDA and 942 Crews's social media accounts. She covers a variety of sports, primarily men's and women's basketball. In conjunction with her digital marketing studies, Ainsley's digital media experience has made her well versed in SEO/SEM optimization and multiple apps within the Adobe Suite.

Ainsley is also a street team member for the Phoenix Suns. As part of the marketing team, her role directly contributes to data cultivation for Suns grassroots marketing strategies. Ainsley has gained insight about marketing strategies that have made the Suns organization the successful NBA franchise it is today.

Formerly, Ainsley was a radio news intern for KJZZ, the Phoenix Affiliate for National Public Radio. She produced radio news packages that aired on KJZZ 91.5 FM and were published on KJZZ's website. She also served as the ASU gymnastics reporter for the Walter Cronkite Sports Network (WCSN) and made a live appearance on WCSN's show, Cronkite Sports Live.

When Ainsley attended Johns Creek High School, she won two national video awards from the Student Television Network. She was an active member of Johns Creek's Audio, Video, Technology, and Film Program. She held multiple leadership positions, including club president and sports producer. She also worked on Johns Creek's national award winning daily live news show, Johns Creek News Now, as an anchor, producer, and reporter.
